Revelop acquires strategic social infrastructure asset in central Malmö

Malmö, June 18, 2026 – Revelop has acquired Klerken 4, a social infrastructure asset in central Malmö, located next to Triangeln train station, one of the key public transport hubs in the Öresund region. The acquisition strengthens Revelop’s presence in one of Europe’s most dynamic cross-border regions.

The asset comprises approximately 15,000 sqm of lettable area and is located close to Skåne University Hospital and several key public institutions in a vibrant area with several ongoing urban development projects driven by investments in infrastructure, public services and mixed-use development, further strengthening Triangeln’s position as one of Malmö’s most dynamic and well-connected districts.

The current tenant plans to remain in occupation during a transition period, after which Revelop intends to reposition the asset towards healthcare, education, public-sector and other community-serving functions through targeted leasing initiatives and investments aimed at enhancing the asset’s operational and environmental performance.

Located in one of Malmö’s most connected urban districts, the asset benefits from strong public transport accessibility, significant commuter flow and close proximity to essential public services. Processing roughly 37,000 daily passengers, Triangeln Station ranks among the busiest railway stations in Sweden and serves as a key gateway to southern Sweden and the wider Öresund region. The Öresund region is characterised by an integrated cross-border economy and strong connectivity, supporting long-term growth and demand for well-located real estate.

“This acquisition represents an attractive opportunity to further expand our social infrastructure portfolio in one of Malmö’s most connected and strategically important locations. The asset combines strong underlying real estate fundamentals with significant potential for future value creation. We see growing demand from healthcare and other public-sector tenants for well-located and adaptable premises and are confident this asset is well positioned to meet these needs,” says Thomas Sipos, CEO & Executive Partner at Revelop.
