Revelop acquires six new assets in Gothenburg and Helsingborg
Stockholm, 28 June: The Swedish real estate company Revelop acquires six new assets in Gothenburg and Helsingborg in four separate transactions. The assets have a combined Total Lettable Area (TLA) of c. 10,400 sqm and are all add-on investments in prioritized submarkets.
Revelop continues to work according to a cluster-strategy, identifying areas with future growth prospects and assets with strong potential through active management or repositioning. The recent acquisitions contribute to strengthening Revelop’s position in two submarkets – Tagene in northern Gothenburg and Gåsebäck in central Helsingborg.
The acquisitions are a result of Revelop’s strategic sub-market research and are sourced off-market. In Gothenburg Revelop has acquired Kärra 77:3 Kärra 77:5, Kärra 77:7 and Kärra 77:8 and in Helsingborg Afrika 16 and Afrika 19. The combined TLA is 10,428 sqm.
– Our ambitious ESG-strategy to extend the life of buildings and transform assets from brown to green will have a major positive impact on these investments, says Executive Partner Thomas Sipos.
The ESG-strategy includes environmental certifications according to BREEAM In-Use and instalment of AI-systems, solar panels and electricity accumulation, resulting in a decreased CO2-emissons of c. 26.5 tonnages p.a.
